Improving Infrastructure, Facilities and the Technological Environment

1. To renovate the current physical infrastructure to match the academic setting and living.
2. To adopt/develop an appropriate technological infrastructure.
3. To construct new buildings to host faculties, student accommodation and recreational facilities.
4. To improve Internet services, accessibility, management and control.

Empowering Students for the Future

1. To review and address gaps in academic policies, develop and implement at least four (4) programs consistent with the USHG mission and vision within five years.
2. To create a strong, reliable, dependable and adequate Human resource that supports the USHG's needs and meets the overall strategic goals of the USHG.
3. To involve external professors, examiners and consultants in program development, lecturing, research supervision and co-publications through online and on-campus.
4. To enhance students' awareness about ICT of the University, and empowering them to be future IT literate.
5. To continuously update our library resources to provide an efficient system for locating and accessing library resources (hard or electronic).
6. To attract, admit and retain 350 students in the University of Sacred Heart Gulu over the next five (5) years.
7. To engage students as partners with a shared responsibility for their educational journey.

Creating Knowledge for a Better World (Research)

1. To develop capacity for research.
2. To engage staff and students in research to tackle societal problems and challenges.
3. To provide best practice undergraduate and graduate research training.
4. To promote learning in order to transform our research practice.

Leverage Innovative Opportunities for Our Communities

1. To engage USHG in on-going community service.
2. To provide opportunities to engage and uplift the underprivileged.
3. To enhance opportunities for graduates.

Strengthening Institutional Sustainability

1. To develop, review and implement policies for strengthening governance.
2. To collaborate and network with various institutions through interactive engagements including academic visits, workshops, seminars, meetings, games and sports within a period of five years.
3. To mobilize resources for key infrastructural developments and programs.
4. To embrace and promote environmental sustainability.
