Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) is a new integral, yet distinctive academic unit of the University of the Sacred Heart Gulu. The faculty was established in 2016 and began running its first programs in October of the same year. The establishment of the FASS is meant to enhance greater research and collaboration at the USHG and create greater opportunities for innovation in the academic program development front especially in the Management Science field to meet the management needs of local, public, and private organizations within the dynamic global economy. Alongside academic programming, the FASS holds various interactive guest lectures, seminars and workshops with eminent corporate and industry leaders that ensure all-round development of the students.

The vision of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) is to be a preferred center of educational excellence in management sciences that serve the needs of local and public and private organizations within the dynamic global economy.

The mission of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) is to offer ethical and professional management, leadership and entrepreneurial education services that meet the needs and challenges of local, regional, and international markets through the provision of quality teaching, greater research and collaboration
