The BACHELOR OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS (BIS) of the USHG provides graduates with the knowledge and skills required to plan, develop, and deploy technology-based business solutions, perform systems analysis and design system specifications and solutions. The program prepares graduates to integrate information technology solutions and business processes to meet the information needs of businesses and other enterprises enabling them to achieve their objectives in an effective and efficient way.
CAREERS FOR BIS GRADUATES
Graduates of the Bachelors of Information Systems can be employed as 1) Information systems risk analysts, 2.
Systems analysts , 3. Management information systems professionals ,4. Systems specialists.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants for the Bachelor of Information Systems(BIS) program must posses:-
1. A minimum of 5 passes obtained at the same sitting in Ordinary level including Mathematics and English
2. At least 2 principle passes at Advanced Level obtained at the same sitting , (or its equivalent).Essential subjects
are Economics, Geography, Mathematics, Agriculture, Technical Drawing, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology,

3.Diploma in relevant discipline with at least a credit from a recognized institution
