APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION FOR AUGUST 2017/2018 INTAKE
University of the Sacred Heart Gulu (USHG) is a private institution dedicated to academic excellence in liberal arts and educational sciences. The University of the Sacred Heart Gulu campus is located in the western part of Gulu Town, about three kilometers on Gulu–Juba road, near St. Joseph Catholic Cathedral at Bardege Division.
Academic Registrar University of the Sacred Heart Gulu invites applications for admission to the following programs offered at University of the Sacred Heart Gulu for the academic year 2017/2018.

The minimum requirements for admission to the above programs are as follow:
A.Bachelor of Counselling Psychology
- Those applying to be considered under direct entry scheme (‘A’ level leavers) should have at least two principal passes in any two ‘A’ level subjects obtained at the same sitting and at least five passes at ‘O’ level.
- Those applying to be considered under the diploma entry scheme should have at least second class or credit diploma
B.Bachelor of Information Systems
- Those applying to be considered under direct entry scheme (‘A’ level leavers) should have at least two principal passes in the following ‘A’ level subjects obtained at the same sitting: Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Agriculture, Technical Drawing
- Must have minimum of five passes at ‘O’ level with at least a credit in English and Mathematics
- Those applying to be considered under diploma entry scheme should have at least second class or credit diploma in computer science or any other diploma with business or computing aspects
Non-refundable application fee of Uganda Shs. 50,000/= for Ugandans and East African citizens and US$ 30.00 for international students plus bank charges should be paid to the University Bank Account No. 7520600073. Application forms can be obtained from the Office of the Academic Registrar University of the Sacred Heart Gulu or downloaded from Here.
Duly filled application form and evidence of having paid the application fee should be submitted to the Office of the Academic Registrar not later than 18th August 2017.
