Bachelor of Applied Information Technology (BAIT)

Admission into the first year for the Bachelor of Applied Information Technology (BAIT) is through any of the four avenues, the Direct Entry Scheme, the Diploma Holders Scheme, Degree Holders Scheme, and Mature Age Scheme

  1. Direct Entry Scheme

Candidates seeking admission through the Direct Entry Scheme must have obtained:

  1. a) Two principal passes at Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) in any two subjects at the same sitting or its equivalent
  2. b) At least five passes at Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent
  3. c) A minimum weighted points set by the Admissions Board of the University of the Sacred Heart Gulu.

2. Diploma Holders Scheme.

Holders of Ordinary Diploma or its equivalent in any discipline who would wish to pursue an ICT career can be admitted to the program. Applicants should have obtained at least a Credit/Second Class Diploma.

  1. Degree Holders Scheme. A person who holds a degree from a recognized institution can be admitted to the BAIT program
  2. Mature Age Scheme.

A person who has passed the mature age examinations set by the University of the Sacred Heart Gulu is eligible for admission to the BAIT program
